Well, there's no rest for the wicked as they say. Since the car was built, there had been some spots of rust appear on the front wing to front panel seams, the rear quarter to valance seams and the rear quarter to scuttle panel seams. Plus the bonnet which I had spent so long repairing started to blister along its leading edges.

I was unable to obtain a good bonnet so I had to go for a fibreglass one from Old Ford autos. Here you can see it in the last stages of fitting before paint.
